From the beginning, this project was meant to be a vehicle — a way to reach new stories, new places, and real human connection.
I quickly realized my emotional, friendly nature (and active listening skills) let me pour my soul into this work. I don’t obsess over gear — I know what I need for each wedding — but I focus on the people.
Every time I leave home to shoot a wedding, I think: “Let’s party today.”
Improvising and dealing with stress became a lot easier the moment I allowed myself to enjoy the day — just like the couples who hire me.
