What can we say: we loved this experience. Mónica & Pedro are a lovely couple and became great friends after this.
We met them at our studio in Porto and soon got thrilled with fresh ideas: doing a photoshoot and videoshoot on a road trip around Liverpool, Lake District and Manchester.
It was amazing. I'm suspicious because I'm always compelled to shoot in UK. Love the aesthetics, the culture, and really imagine doing more wedding photography there.
Mónica & Pedro never give up on us. Sometimes it was hard, specially on Lake District. It was so cold and Pedro was getting sick also.
We wanted to have some kind of storytelling in our pictures to bring more value to the wedding video. It had to be real according to their life and experience far away from their loved ones.
Of course the places we shoot matter (a lot) but they will never matter as much as the people we work with. This friends gave us the best experience we could ever had.
We also had a Karaoke Night with awesome beers on the mix (@tstellers style:)
Can't wait to revisit them at the wedding here in Portugal very soon at Quinta de Segade.

O que dizer: adoramos esta experiência. A Mónica e o Pedro são um casal adorável e que depois disto, se tornaram bons amigos.
Conhecemo-los no nosso estúdio no Porto, e rapidamente ficamos entusiasmados com o plano: fazer uma sessão de fotografia e vídeo, numa vertente documental ao longo de uma road trip por Liverpool, Lake District e Manchester.
Foi fantástico. Sou suspeito, porque adoro fotografar e filmar no Reino Unido. Sou atraído pela estética, cultura e realmente imagino os The Storytellers a fazer mais fotografia e video de casamentos no UK.
A Mónica e o Pedro nunca desistiram de nós (nem nós deles). Muitas alturas foram difíceis, especialmente no Lake District. Estava muito frio, e o Pedro a adoecer também.
Quisemos ter algum tipo de narrativa visual, que pudesse acrescentar valor ao video final de casamento. Tinha que ser real de acordo com a sua vida e experiência longe dos seus familiares e amigos.
É claro que os locais onde filmamos e fotografamos são importantes (e muito), mas nunca serão tão importantes quanto as pessoas com quem trabalhamos. Estes amigos deram-nos a melhor experiência que poderíamos ter.
Também tivemos uma noite de karaoke com cervejas incríveis à mistura (@tstellers style) :)
Mal posso esperar para revê-los no casamento aqui em Portugal, muito em breve na Quinta de Segade.
