They’re a Portuguese couple living in London, and this maternity photoshoot was a natural continuation of their story - a story I’ve been lucky enough to tell from the start. I photographed their wedding in Portugal, and now, with a new chapter on the way, we met again to capture this next part: parenthood.
We didn’t plan for perfection. We planned for truth. We started in Hyde Park, letting the softness of the morning light wrap around their quiet moments. No stiff poses. Just them, together, letting it unfold.
From there, we walked through central London, with its mix of old stone and buzzing streets. Then we hit Borough Market - vibrant, full of life, where the raw energy of the city met the tenderness of pregnancy. Finally, we wrapped up in Camden Market, where the unexpected always happens. Colours, characters, and cool unexpected moments.
Each place gave us a different mood. Being in London always reminds me a film. And that’s the vibe I always go for - cinematic, emotional, real.
