Ricardo spent the morning with his friends at an Airbnb in Porto.
From the moment we arrived, the energy was already high – relaxed, loud, and full of that pre-wedding excitement that doesn’t need much encouragement.
Things escalated quickly. In the best way.
At some point, we all ended up inside a jacuzzi for a group photo — no plan, no rules, just friends being friends at Quinta do Avesso, near Porto.
From the start, my intention was to break the ice.
I asked Ricardo not to rush into formal clothes, to stay present with his friends, and to enjoy the moment instead of worrying about a traditional wedding timeline.
That’s why we were there in the first place.
Here, the focus shifted naturally towards quieter moments and portraits that hinted at what was about to come - anticipation rather than action, calm before movement.
Same energy, different expression.
After getting ready in Porto, Catarina and Ricardo did a quick stop for a short religious ceremony and soon headed to Quinta do Avesso for an intimate wedding party surrounded by close friends and family.
