This Wasn’t About Poses — It Was About Who They Are
Lúcia & Tiago didn’t want the usual engagement shoot.
They wanted something that felt like them — bold, a little rebellious, and full of attitude. And that’s exactly what we got.
Every year, they visit this themed fairground in Lisbon — it’s almost like a ritual for them. So instead of heading to the beach or some “cute” romantic spot, we went straight to the chaos: neon lights, bumper cars, spinning rides, popcorn in the air.
And it was perfect.
They showed up with that mix of playfulness and intimacy that only real couples have — holding hands one second, teasing each other the next, and throwing in some spicy looks in between. Their energy was pure cinema. We didn’t direct much. Honestly, we just followed their rhythm — and it was loud, fast, and full of fire.

Bumper Cars, Bold Looks, and Real Laughs
One of my favorite moments? The bumper cars.
I jumped in with a total pro (the pilot takes no prisoners behind the wheel), and we just went for it — chasing, crashing, laughing nonstop. Lúcia driving ther car, eyes on fire, flipping her hair mid-spin.
We weren’t “documenting love.”
We were living it with them.
These two don’t need a rulebook. Their relationship speaks in glances, hands on hips, mock insults, kisses between rounds of chaos. That constant tension — playful, provocative, affectionate — it’s what made every photo feel alive.
We shot in vibrant color and moody black and white. Day turned to night, the lights of the fair flickering like scenes from a punk short film. No filters, no fluff. Just the two of them — raw and electric.
